Words by Martha: The Guilt Trip

(written in Crete, 2020)

Should I really be here? I’m feeling fatigue of the constant move and changes of the crazy society. My energy was running of escapism, but now I am craving comfort. I feel guilty because I am in a rare opportunity yet I am asking for more when others have less. I consider this a thankful break. The mixed skip of routine to remind me that life is waiting for me when I return. Nothing has changed - only the new memories for me to keep.
